Wearable Geometry

Fashion Cube Project in the exhibition “ARCHIFASHION” is a collaboration between architects and fashion designers. Each party presented three works, which were reinterpreted and translated to ignite new creative sparks in this exhibition. Housed within a cubic structure measuring 2.5 x 2.5 x 2.5 meters, the project aims to explore new possibilities born from the fusion of space and fashion through an experimental process of representation.

Wearable Geometry | Shi-Chieh Lu X Ashley Jolin
Composed of the patterns of two garments, this work deliberately retains the drafting lines of the pattern making. By bending and twisting the patterns, it generates mutually structural forces. Through local experimentation, the optimal relationship is discovered, merging the flat plane with the three-dimensional form. This creates a new geometric relationship—a dynamic geometry.
