The surround access concept is applied to this residential project in order to make tighter and smoother linkage of the multifunctional study, master bedroom and master bathroom. Based on the idea of paper, an arch turns at the corner between the ceiling and wall to bring a sculpture taste and present a 3D visual effect. Overlapping rounds in white are designed for the partition of the multifunctional study to symbolize the accumulation of wealth that matches the financial background of the owner. A special space separated with sliding glass windows on the half-cut partition with hidden tracks is reserved for the owner’s pet dog. The wall originally near the window has been shrunk back to make space for an independent hallway to let light penetrate the entire row of slide windows in order to make the interior look brighter and feel more spacious.
